From March 4th to 8th, 2020, Europe’s greatest young hopefuls met in Varazdin, Croatia. TIBHAR was not only the table sponsor of the event this year, many players from TIBHAR were also able to fight their way to the top of the podium.
Cristian Pletea added two gold medals to his medal collection: He won the men’s doubles with Rares Sipos (3:1) and the mixed doubles with Adina Diaconu (3:2).
The losers of the final and thus silver medal winners in men’s doubles were Jiri Martinko(CZE) and Andrei Putuntica(MLD).
Third place went to the two TIBHAR players Laurens Devos and Florian Cnudde from Belgium.
Silver and bronze in mixed also went to TIBHAR players:
Bastien Rembert(FRA, with partner Nolwenn Fort) and Laurens Devos and Lisa Lung secured the medals here.
Andreea Dragoman from Romania won the silver medal in women’s singles. She lost in the final to her opponent Prithika Pavade from France with a 4:2. Dragoman won a bronze medal in women’s doubles with her partner Diaconu.
In the men’s singles, two TIBHAR players, Laurens Devos and Andrei Putuntica, were third on the podium, both returning home with more than one medal!
