Title in Goa for Felix Lebrun / Great Results at the U21 European Championships

Felix Lebrun celebrated a remarkable triumph at the WTT Star Contender in Goa. In a thrilling final, the young French shooting star overcame the world number 7, Hugo Calderano, to claim the men’s singles title. This victory, Lebrun’s first WTT Star Contender title, marks another milestone on his journey to the top of the world rankings. This title catapulted him to 6th place in the world rankings, making him the highest-ranked non-Chinese player in the world for the first time in his career.

In addition to Lebrun’s outstanding success, our players also showcased their talents at the U21 European Championships in Skopje. In the mixed event, Ivor Ban and Hana Arapovic (both from Croatia) won the gold medal in an exciting final against a Romanian pair.

In the women’s doubles, TIBHAR player Bianca Mei Rosu (Romania) also clinched gold – together with her partner Zaharia, they were crowned European Champions with authority!

Gold was also achieved in men’s doubles – TIBHAR player Milosz Redzimski, along with his partner Kubik, won in an exciting and high-quality final with a 3:2 victory over Edy Ionescu and Darius Movileanu from Romania.

Redzimski continued his successful path in men’s singles as well, where he was able to defeat his doubles partner with a score of 4:2, defending his title from 2023 successfully!

We congratulate our youngsters on their great results and look forward to the next tournaments.
