Information about the collection of personal data

The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data is collected on our site, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data.

Stored data will be deleted immediately after the purpose for which they were collected has ceased to exist and insofar as no retention periods conflict with this.

If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer and will transfer data to them, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below.

What is personal data?

Personal data is individual information about personal or factual circumstances with which a reference to an identified or identifiable natural person can be established, such as name, age, marital status, date of birth, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address or account number. Sometimes even the IP address is considered to be a personal data.

How long will my data be stored?

We process and store your personal data as long as this is necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual and legal obligations.

If the data is no longer required to fulfill contractual or legal obligations, it is regularly deleted, unless its – temporary – further processing is necessary for purposes that may arise from the fulfillment of commercial and tax retention periods.

Collection of data when visiting our website

In principle, it is not necessary for you to disclose personal data in order to use our website.

If you contact us (e.g. via e-mail) or make use of services, we only collect data that we need to maintain contact, provide our services and execute the contract. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. lit. a and b GDPR. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data.

Insofar as we ask you for further data, this is voluntary information. Personal data is processed exclusively for the fulfillment of the requested services and for the protection of our own legitimate business interests.

In addition, we only process data that you provide voluntarily and, if applicable, data that is automatically collected when you visit the Internet pages. In doing so, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. In connection with your access, data is temporarily stored for data security purposes that may allow identification (e.g. IP address, date, time, pages viewed). An evaluation, with the exception of statistical purposes in anonymized form, does not take place.

What rights do I have?

• Right to object to processing
• Right to data portability

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

If you have given us consent, you can revoke this at any time with effect for the future without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the revocation.

Who gets my data?

Your data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed in this privacy policy and below.

We will only share your personal information with third parties if:

• You have provided us with your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO have given express consent to this,
• the disclosure according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO is necessary to protect our legitimate interests, in particular the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims, and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
• in the event that the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DSGVO a legal obligation exists, as well as
• this is legally permissible and in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you.

Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

We point out that data transmission over the Internet (eg communication by e-mail) security gaps. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Cookies

In addition to the previously mentioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using and through which the entity that sets the cookie (in this case by us) receives certain information (e.g. after selecting a display language for our website).
