In 1977 Erwin Berg decided to also propose textiles with the rest of TIBHAR’s program range. T-shirts and shorts were then only functional and not really “trendy”. In past years, people used to manually add the TIBHAR logo on each item on their own. After a trip to Hong Kong in 1983 where he visited several textile factories, Erwin Berg came back to Germany with new design ideas. He launched the collection “MIAMI” which proposed shirts in three colours, two tracksuits and a few shorts in a unique design. Due to its success, this collection remained many years in TIBHAR’s catalogue.
